JOB TITLE: Adjunct Faculty - Various Programs
LOCATION: Chicago
The Adler School of Professional Psychology was founded in 1952. It is the oldest independent school of psychology in North America. The school offers an APA-accredited clinical psychology program and ten Masters degree programs at its downtown Chicago location. As part of its commitment to continue the work of Alfred Adler, the School trains practitioners with demonstrated interest in social justice to work with marginalized and underserved populations.
Position Summary
Selected applicants will be interviewed to establish an approved list of instructors for possible adjunct teaching assignments for various courses across our Doctorate and Masters programs (PsyD in Clinical Psychology, MA-Counseling Psychology, MA-Counseling Psychology (Online/Hybrid), MA in Counseling: Art Therapy, Rehabilitation Counseling, Sport & Health Psychology, Forensic Psychology, MA – Organizational Psychology, MA – Gerontological Counseling, and MA – Marriage & Family Counseling.
Doctorate in a Counseling, Psychology or a closely related field OR Master's in a Counseling, Psychology or a closely related field. Candidates should have interests consistent with our programs and have the ability to work with students and faculty of diverse backgrounds. Special consideration will be given to candidates who have expertise, previous experience, and training in any of the above programs. Clinical-related experience is highly desirable.
Teaching graduate students in a variety of courses across a number of programs. Candidates with expertise in the following areas will be given particular consideration:
