Standing Committees

The ASAA Standing Committees

The ASAA Board has established volunteer standing committees to encourage participation by alumni in program and event development, social media and marketing strategy and development support of the School. All alumni are welcome to join a committee at any point throughout the year. The following standing committees are currently active:

Career and Professional Development Committee

This committee will plan and implement a comprehensive menu of career-related programs, events and resources to support alumni in their career preparation, job-search process and ongoing professional development.

Marketing and Communications

This committee will ensure effective communication with alumni and assist the Marketing department in developing and executing a brand strategy for the ASAA.

Social Networking and Events

This committee will enhance social networking opportunities to Adler School alumni while engaging them in special event and program participation.

Nominations and Awards

This committee will oversee the criteria, selection and presentation of awards to alumni, as well as the nomination and election of ASAA Board members.

Development and Scholarships

This committee will work closely with the Office of Alumni Relations to support the develop effort of the school, ensure scholarships for students and develop partnerships in the community.

Vancouver Campus Events

This committee will work on behalf of the ASAA and in collaboration with the Office of Alumni Relations to develop and implement alumni social networking opportunities, on-campus workshops and events, and career-related services.
